Matt played his High School ball at Coon Rapids class of 2006. He played 2 years for Tom Yelle with Coon Rapids legion post 334 as the starting catcher from 2006-2007. In the summer of 2010, Matt played for the Arizona Summer League in Yuma, Arizona. Along with over 20 years of playing baseball.
